Join us for a hands-on sushi-making experience with sushi chef (Shokunin) Robert Kershner on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 5-7 pm. This two-hour course is perfect for everyone, whether you're a sushi lover or someone who thinks fish is better suited for bait! In this fun, interactive class, you'll learn the art of sushi from preparing Japanese sticky rice to mastering the techniques for making Maki and Nigiri. You will also learn to make a delicious Miso Soup.
You'll have plenty of time to roll up your sleeves and craft your very own sushi dinner, which you'll enjoy together (Itadakimasu). There will be a 15-minute intermission to rest before diving back in. By the end of the evening, you'll be rolling like a pro, ready to say "Gochiso•sama!" for a delicious meal well done.
This is a 100% hands-on class, so get ready to roll with it!

Though he pursues sushi as a hobby, Chef Kershner is deeply committed to sharing his love for sushi’s fresh ingredients and traditional techniques. For him, sushi is all about enjoying great food with friends and family, and he delights in teaching his students the skills and flavors of Japan in every class.
