Join Margaret Boyle (co-author of the 2024 Sabor Judío: the Jewish-Mexican Cookbook and Bowdoin Professor) for a hands-on workshop with masa, the naturally gluten-free corn base for so many delicious Mexican and Mesoamerican foods. We will make tlacoyos (stuffed corn tortillas) and huaraches (fried masa dough topped with beans), and a variety of vegetarian fillings: black bean pineapple and mushroom with pumpkin seeds. Learn recipes and stories from her cookbook Sabor Judío: the Jewish-Mexican Cookbook and gain more confidence with handling this delicious corn dough.
